Amy Cecil rushes her children Ray and Roxy to the hospital due to their high fevers. In the chaotic entrance, she mistakes Lily Kirk for Roxy and takes the wrong child home. Meanwhile, Wade Graham, a local greengrocer, finds Roxy and rescues her, raising her as his own daughter Ines. Years pass and Amy's dedication to finding Roxy grows stronger.
